The Environment Agency has issued a flood alert for Maidenhead.  This means ‘be prepared, flooding is possible’. It will be escalated to a flood warning if property flooding is expected. This adds to the alert for groundwater flooding in East Maidenhead and several local alerts and warnings across the borough.  For the latest update see the Environment Agency web site at http://www.environment-agency.gov.uk/homeandleisure/floods/31618.aspx or call 0845 988 1188.

Borough road closures and waste collection information can be found at http://www.rbwm.gov.uk/web/news_flood_update.htm
