The footpath outside the parade of shops in Bridge Road is very uneven and several people have tripped and fallen recently. All but one of the shops is inaccesible to people with mobility problems.
Many elderly residents live nearby and local LibDems are campaigning for the council to make imrpovements for their safety and well being.
Alison Napier said, “We are in discussion with Council officers to establish whether any section 106 money can be used to imrpove the area and make it safer and more attractive for everyone. “
