Currently the Conservatives hold 54 of the 57 seats in the Royal Borough – this is bad for democracy – good government needs a strong opposition to make sure the Conservatives do not make mistakes.
I will work with the only non-Conservative Councillor in Maidenhead, Liberal Democrat Simon Werner, to provide the sensible opposition needed to make local democracy healthy and more balanced.
I will be an independent minded councillor who will put the residents of Riverside and North Town first.
