Decent Homes for Heroes

Med Boxwell, forces veteran and himself a former families quarters resident, persuaded the Lib Dems to back the Decent Homes for Heroes campaign at a recent Lib Dem Conference.

Backed by Windsor Lib Dems, he argued that the Government should adopt the “Decent Homes Standard” as a minimum guarantee for the quality of armed forces married quarters.

“We’re really glad that Lib Dems across the south of England have agreed with us that our forces’ families deserve decent housing, ” says Med.

In the near future Med hopes to survey all the forces housing in Windsor to ascertain the state of repair of the properties.
